Shavano

GLR Shavano

Shavano, 2010 Dark Herdsire of the Year, is a half Accoyo true black, full Peruvian herdsire. His luster, lock and density are both extreme and very rare for a jet black suri. He is solid boned, has a magnificent head and is heavily covered from his head to his toes even after mulitple shearings. His sire, 4P Miguel, is a full accoyo and his dam is GLL Macatawa, daughter of 4P Highlander and 4P Macusani. Shavano won Color Champion at the 2006 AAA Futurity as a juvenile and Reserve Color Champion at the 2006 MAPACA show. In 2007 he took 1st place at both AOBA and the AAA Futurity. Shavano was awarded 1st place, Get of Sire at the 2010 GWAS show in Denver. Shavano was named the 2010 AAA Futurity Dark Herdsire of the year and his offspring were responsible for Great Lakes Ranch being named the 2010 Medium Size Breeder of the Year.
