GLR Rastamon

GLR Rastamon is the densest true black suri we have ever produced at Great Lakes Ranch. His sire is Shavano our true black half accoyo Color Champion. His mother, LCA Jaimica, is a 5 Peruvian silken daughter, one of Don and Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas very favorite dams and one of the reasons that we bought Jaimica from Jack and Kelly Armstrong a few years back. This guy is jet black with no tipping, what so ever, and very impressive in bone, density and luster. He stands upright and proud even as a juvenile and was awarded the Reserve Black Male Color Championship at his first show at only 7 months old. Rastamon has a follicle density of 68 and a micron count of 20.9. He is maturing beautifully and we just can't wait to see what he puts on the ground. He will be of breeding age, fall of 2011. Rastamon is closed to outside breedings.
